Aqua Fortis Ltd was established in January 2006 as an innovative, dynamic company in the field of hydro-demolition and water jetting. Drawing on the vast wealth of experience of the management and operatives we have acquired an early reputation as a market leader in the specialist field of Midland Links Repair Contracts.

The vision of our team at Aqua Fortis Ltd is to provide a high quality, flexible, all-round service which seeks to exceed our client expectations.

Our dedicated Operatives are highly skilled and experienced in hydro-demolition and other aspects of water jetting and are all qualified to CSCS and Water Jetting Association level. We pride ourselves on our excellent Safety record and believe that we have fostered a co-operative Safety Culture which is second to none.

Aqua Fortis Ltd is committed to partnering and the application of the Egan Principles. As a named Key Supplier for the Construction Management Framework working in Highways Agency Areas 9 & 10 we have taken the opportunity to learn from this Framework, buying-in to this culture and ethos.

SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVeMENTS

Contract: R111 Ray Hall Viaduct

Client: The Highways Agency in Partnership with the Construction Management Framework.

This scheme consisted of the Concrete Repair of 7 Cross Head Beams on the M6/M5 interchange. Designer and Client placed great emphasis on the need for accurate and controlled hydro-demolition to prevent over breaking and the potential catastrophic failure of the structure.

Aqua Fortis Ltd were the chosen Key Supply Chain Partner of Concrete Repairs Ltd, building on strong relationships developed between all parties on earlier, less complex schemes. Aqua Fortis Ltd were involved in the Early Contractor Involvement meetings with the Designer (AmeyMouchel) and provided technical expertise and advice at this stage.

The performance of Aqua Fortis Ltd has been praised by all parties involved and our integral involvement in bringing the scheme in ahead of time was one of the reasons cited in the schemes award winning submission for the ‘Phil Stanton Award for Excellence’ 2007.
